Almost every morning, I have this delicious seed yogurt with my breakfast. I love that it’s packed with protein and fiber, tastes good, and I can make it ahead of time for an easy breakfast. I often top it with berries or slivered almonds, but I also think it would be good with fresh peaches or pears.

All you need are six simple ingredients!

Easy Seed Yogurt

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp ground flax
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt you can substitute non-dairy yogurt for vegan option
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • sweetener of choice
  • berries or nuts for topping optional

Instructions
 

  • Soak chia seeds in milk for 10 minutes.
  • While the seeds are soaking, mix together ground flax, yogurt, and vanilla.
  • Once the chia seeds have softened somewhat, add the chia milk to yogurt.
  • Sweeten to taste.

Notes

I usually prepare this the night before so the chia seeds can fully soften, but it still tastes good and has a good texture if you don’t. I often top with blueberries and/or strawberries. Sometimes I like it with slivered almonds.
